MLM = scam

I’ve done my part…

I made a video on how awful MLMs are, but it’s relatively unwatched. Like, less than 9% of the audience for bottled water.

I think that the paradox is that MLMs continue to exist because enough people have no idea what they are, and why they’re bad. The other side of that is that efforts to educate people on MLMs fail because people don’t identify the term with the individual MLM companies.

Take the title: Dad Ruins Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) Companies... LET'S GO!

Would you click on that if you didn’t already know what an MLM was? And if you did already know what an MLM was, would you really need a video from me, to drone on and on about it for 6 minutes?

Unfortunately, it’d probably have to be more like this:

  • Dad Ruins Amway
  • Dad Ruins Herbalife
  • Dad Ruins Mary Kay
  • Dad Ruins Tupperware
  • Dad Ruins Plexus
  • Dad Ruins Young Living
  • Dad Ruins doTERRA
  • Dad Ruins Beachbody
  • Dad Ruins Monat
  • Dad Ruins Rodan + Fields
  • Dad Ruins Pampered Chef
  • Dad Ruins Nu Skin
  • Dad Ruins Forever Living
  • Dad Ruins Arbonne
  • Dad Ruins Younique
