$450 Creality K1C at Micro Center!

The have Creality, Bambu, Sovol, AnyCubic, and maybe a couple other brands...

I went to Micro Center for no particular reason yesterday (10/13). Actually, I forgot to get a Pi Zero. Of course, I walked out with four boxes of filament that I didn’t need, but I took my time to walk around more of the store than I typically do.

What did I see?

New K1Cs are on sale for $450! I recently bought mine for over a $100 more than that. If I wasn’t waiting to get a multi-filament, larger-format printer, I think I would have gotten a second K1C.

If you are local to a Micro Center (locations here), you should check it out. Houston used to be my local store, but the new Charlotte store is now my “home” Micro Center. I hope the market is able to support the store. Parking is a little tight, but the store is a decent size. A ton of the floorspace is dedicated to laptops and pre-builts. In that way, it’s very similar to one of the Atlanta-area stores I’ve been to (Duluth, I think). The maker area isn’t very large, but that’s a little misleading because there’s a flow rack for the filament - presumably to cut down on the floor space. The maker staff seem to be FDM enthusiasts, with at least one printer working at any particular time.
