The YouTube experiment (one month in)

I’m a month into trying to figure out YouTube.

I’m sure it would be easier if I was better at any of the core skills, if I had more time, and if I was younger and/or more interesting.

Still, it’s a pretty cool data gathering exercise.

1300 views, 23 watch hours, 12 subscribers, and my “best” video has 253 views.

Way to prove my points, Kia

It takes talent to take a couple of my Kia EV9 gripes, and create a crossover episode that combines them. Poorly done, Kia.

They took a bad infotainment design decision, mostly resolved it with an ok-ish solution, and then inadequately communicated the remediation to their customers. This, despite pushing the “fix” out as an OTA.

I still love my EV9. I hope/expect Kia to get better at these types of issues. I also think it will take a while (Tesla was bad at it for at least 4 years).
